Moving deeper and deeper in the subconscious realm of meaningful imagery, I have for about ten years been honing my skills in 3D low-poly subdivided modeling. Moving from monsters/creatures ranging from cute to monstrous, into car concept design, looking for the perfect curvature into furniture explorations, into simple expressive sculptures, into a colorful range of jewelry. My designs are very personal expressions of graphic ideas, and often "grow" from basic shapes into complex constructions of imagery. I never draw out concepts in 2D: my 3D modeling phase IS my phase of conception. Throughout the years, I got better technically, working with clean expressive subdivided geometry; I also got to know and make use of the quirks of subdivided geometry. On the expressive side of things, I got ever more conscious about how shapes work and work together on an inner level. I just LOVE shape exploration! The tools of choice: Blender 3D and Substance Designer and Painter.
