Drew Gilbert
Drew Gilbert is a design manager at OBMI. Gilbert is an architect, urban designer, and futurist. From masterplans to refined private villas, he fuses technology with design to create responsive solutions focusing on timeless design that is responsive, adaptive, and enriches the context responding to the climatic, ecological and social emergencies of our time. With a focus on developing contemporary projects that push the boundaries of design and create sustainable and lasting solutions that are profoundly relevant to place and people, designing for both the digital and physical worlds. Gilbert was awarded the ‘Young Architect HC' award in 2022, and the ‘Rising Star of the Year’ title three times in a row. He was selected in the Top 30 Architects Powerlist three times consecutively, and was awarded the ‘Sustainability Champion of the Year 2021’. His projects have won many international awards like Best Museum and Best Public Spaces at the 4th International Architecture Festival. His work has been featured in many magazines and exhibitions. Gilbert has been a judge, jury, speaker and panelist at many forums, podcasts, and design talks.
