A memory of the Bath House made by Louis Kahn was the seed of the design process, accompanied by inspiration from Japanese woodwork and Carlo Scarpa's mad geometry skills. The pavilion itself is 32 meters by 32 meters (fits into 4 Decentraland plots) and the garden extends up to 64 by 64, for interoperability between metaverses. It has four smaller spaces for special 3D placeholders to encourage the creation and usage of this type of NFT - a central gathering space for community meetings covered by a golden roof that conjures the Egyptian pyramids and will make it easily recognizable in the metaverse, and the surrounding garden that offers plenty of wall space to display your collection. I consider the sacred geometry carved on the floor to be my signature. I am always looking for a place to integrate a mandala into my virtual endeavour, and I am happy I could find one on this occasion. The pavilion is the first space I made for multiple metaverses so it felt like the right time to bring the public space type into the metaverse. IRL public life would be every step we take or don't outside of our private homes. Since we don't live in the metaverse and the token-gated spaces are still meant for gathering multiple individuals, all of its space is public, and decentralized, you could say, so the need and presence of this type of architecture will increase in the coming "meta future".
